Our HOPES For NEXT Year’s Grade Threes! Oh, the PLACES You’ll GO!

One of the virtues of being very young is that you don’t let the facts get in the way of your

imagination.

~Sam Levenson

A child’s world is fresh and new and beautiful, full of wonder and excitement.  It is our misfortune that for most of us that clear-eyed vision, that true instinct for what is beautiful and awe-inspiring, is dimmed and even lost before we reach adulthood.

~Rachel Carson

      Oh, Arash!

What a LOVELY surprise to see your comment on the class blog this morning! It has TOTALLY made my day.

Thank you SO much for your thoughtful comment! You’ve made me feel SO good. You should know, though, that I was very, VERY lucky to get to work with YOU last year!

I will share your comment with the class and we will write you back with an answer to your question! We are still trying to figure out what we will call ourselves … we have an AWESOME list. Now we just need to whittle it down and then vote! We will answer your question even before that!

      Love,

      Mrs. Renton 🙂

      Hi Arash!

We appreciate your comment on the blog! We agree with you. We with we are all going to have a fun year together!

The earth’s inner core is between 3000 and 6500 degrees Celsius! It is hard to believe that the inner core is THAT hot … and SOLID … when the outer core is only 3000 to 4000 degrees Celsius and it’s LIQUID!!! That’s CRAZY!

Guess what? You are the very FIRST person to hear our NAME! We voted, this afternoon, to call ourselves The Nature Hawks! We had SO many great names to choose from!

      Keep checking back!

      The Nature Hawks 🙂
